The International Architectural Studio Workshop, hosted by Abdullah Gül University (AGU) in Kayseri between July 26 – August 2, 2025, has been successfully completed.
Organized in collaboration with IRCICA (Research Centre for Islamic History, Art and Culture – a subsidiary organ of the OIC), Istanbul Technical University, Gazi University, the University of Sarajevo (UNSA), and AGU, the workshop focused on stone and adobe structures in the Develi region of Kayseri.
The aim of the workshop was to contribute to the sustainable preservation of architectural heritage and to the continuity of cultural identity and historical knowledge in the Islamic world. Participants, including students and academics, conducted on-site documentation and analysis, and developed proposals for preservation at various scales.
